Uster, Switzerland

Our school is situated in Uster, near Zürich. It’s one of three secondary schools in our town.

We are a relatively small school with about 250 students in eleven classes, 30 teachers, two janitors, two trainees and one welfare worker.

The Krämeracker has a school parliament to discuss students’ issues around topics such as infrastructure, breaks, classes, activities and so on.

One of our schools’ approaches is: When people feel comfortable, they work more and better. Therefore, activities outside the classroom and various projects play a big part in our curriculum.
